| How To create a free 1 terabyte virtual hard disk on PC |
Connectix Corporation first created this virtual hard disk as a Virtual PC product known as Microsoft Virtual PC. Do you know how to create this free 1 terabyte virtual hard drive? Follow me.
Right click on "My Computer" of your computer, select "Management Options" and open "Computer Management".
Then select Disk Management and open it.
Then click "Create Virtual Hard Disk" in the "Action" menu and open. The Create and Mount Virtual Hard Disk window opens.
Then select browse in the "Create and Mount a Virtual Hard Disk" window and go to any drive other than the one you have Windows and save 1TB or 1 Terabyte.
Then select TB from the dropdown menu in the virtual hard disk size box and enter 1.
Then select the dynamically expanding virtual hard disk type option and click OK.
Once you open Disk Management, you will see a new 1024 GB hard drive named "Disk 1". General chat Chat Lounge
Right click on Disk 1 and click Disk to initialize.
The "Initialize Disk" window will appear, in it select the MBR (Master Boot Record) option and click "OK".
Then right click on the 1024.00GB Unallocated field next to Disk 1 and select New Simple Volume.
The New Simple Volume Wizard window will appear, click next.
"Assign Drive or Path" window will appear, click "Next".
Format Partition window will pop up, enter volume level "New Volume" where you want to enter the name of your hard drive and click "Next".
Then the Completing the Create New Simple Volume Wizard window will appear, click Finish.
Now after 1 minute it will start formatting the new hard drive. You will then see that clicking on This PC / My Computer will display your new hard drive size, 0.99 TB.
Computer shutdown After opening this hard drive, open the drive where you saved the virtual hard drive first, and you will find a named drive with a capacity of 1 TB or 1 terabyte.
