ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence chatbot developed by OpenAI and launched in November 20221. It is built on top of OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 families of large language models and has been fine-tuned using both supervised and reinforcement learning techniques. ChatGPT was launched as a prototype on November 30, 2022, and quickly garnered attention for its ability to generate human-like text2. The new and improved embedding model of ChatGPT was launched on 15th December 2022. On 14th March 2023, OpenAI launched GPT-4 technology in the ChatGPT Plus Plan.
What is the difference between ChatGPT and Jasper? |
GPT-4 is a large multimodal model, which is capable of accepting not only text but also images as input. Its previous versions, GPT-3 and GPT-3.5, could only take text inputs1. A main difference between versions is that while GPT-3.5 is a text-to-text model, GPT-4 is more of a data-to-text model. It can do things the previous version never dreamed of. A less talked about difference between GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 is the context window and context size. A context window is how much data a model can retain in its “memory” during a chat session and for how long. GPT-4 has a significantly better context size and window than its predecessor model.
ChatGPT is different from other chatbots in a few key ways. ChatGPT was trained on a very large and diverse corpus of text, which includes everything from books, articles, and web pages to social media posts, blogs, and more. This allows ChatGPT to generate longer and more detailed responses than some other chatbots1. ChatGPT uses a deep learning model called a transformer to generate responses. This model allows ChatGPT to understand the context of a question and generate more natural and coherent responses.
Bing Chat is available on more platforms than ChatGPT, including Android, iOS, and even the Skype app. However, it currently requires you to join a waitlist whereas you can use ChatGPT immediately. Bing primarily functions as a search engine, so the new Chat feature can access web results and up-to-date information1. Both services support a range of languages, though ChatGPT is more focused on English, where Bing Chat offers a wider array of non-English languages1. While ChatGPT and Bing are also language models developed by OpenAI and Microsoft, respectively, they differ in their purpose and scope. ChatGPT was designed to generate human-like responses to a given prompt or conversation, while Bing was developed primarily for search and retrieval tasks2
ChatGPT is a large language model developed by OpenAI, while Jasper AI is a conversational AI platform that uses pre-built AI models and templates1. One of the primary differences between ChatGPT and Jasper AI lies in their training data. ChatGPT is an NLP platform developed by OpenAI, which is trained on a massive dataset of text from the internet. On the other hand, Jasper AI is an NLP platform developed by a startup based in San Francisco, California2. ChatGPT is primarily used for generating text-based responses in conversational AI systems, while Jasper is a smaller, specialized model that is trained specifically for voice-based conversational AI systems.
